SBB lawsuit against Serbian competition watchdog dismissed
Serbia's Administrative Court has dismissed cable TV and internet provider Serbia Broadband's (SBB) lawsuit against the competition protection commission for ruling that SBB had abused its dominant position in Belgrade's cable TV and radio distribution market. According to a court statement, the commission "correctly" concluded that SBB had abused its dominant position through a promotional campaign in the municipalities of Palilula and Stari Grad in March 2006. Also, the watchdog was correct to order SBB to submit annexes to contracts to users it signed up during the campaign, according to the court. In the annexes, SBB should inform users that they are not obligated to remain its clients for the next three years, according to the watchdog's decision.
